“ Completing the Dream” VISION 2010
Honoring Christ through our stewardship of becoming a debt free church by 2010
“Now finish the work, so that your eager willingness to do it may be matched by your completion of it, according to your means.” 2 Cor 8:11
Vision 2010 is the continuation of our building remodel project that was completed in October 2005. We desire to be good stewards of the resources that our faithful God provides. To that end, we want to be a DEBT FREE congregation in the year 2010.
Over the coming years, we want to pay off the mortgage liability on our facility so that this money can be used towards God’s work in our many ministries.
Our current liability is approximately $870K. Since the start of this project, we have been able to raise over $210,000 in offerings. The congregation has also pledged over $350,000 in future donations. We have made tremendous strides, yet there is much to do.
If you are not a part of Vision 2010 and want to be a part of this effort, simply click on the following site to view a sample of our “commitment card”. If you wish to join, just print it off, fill in your commitment, and drop it in one of the donation boxes located within the church.
To ensure that your monthly gift goes directly toward the mortgage, simply write “2010” in the memo line of your check. It’s that easy!
